In the Ulyanovsk region redistributed billions for schools and kindergartens

The government of the Ulyanovsk region changed the financing of the regional program for the development and modernization of education. The amendments affected school infrastructure, preschool education, the organization of children's recreation and the maintenance of educational institutions.

The total funding of the program is now about 17 billion rubles. Of these, more than 15.5 billion rubles are provided from the regional budget, about 1.45 billion rubles are accounted for by federal funds.

The changes affected the regional project “All the best for children”, which provides for the modernization of the school education system. In particular, the amount of funding for activities related to the renovation of the educational infrastructure has been adjusted.

A separate block of amendments concerns preschool education. About 1.21 billion rubles are provided for a set of measures to develop the system of upbringing and education of children. At the same time, expenses in certain areas related to the work of kindergartens have been changed.

In particular, the financing of measures to ensure the activities of preschool institutions, as well as individual costs for the development and maintenance of the educational system, was revised.

There are also changes for additional education. They touched upon the financing of organizations working with children, as well as certain areas in the field of culture and sports.

Adjusted expenses for the organization of children's rest and rehabilitation. About 196 million rubles are provided for these purposes. The funds are intended to provide rest for children in country camps, specialized institutions and other organizations involved in the rehabilitation of schoolchildren.

In addition, changes were made to the financing of state educational institutions. We are talking about funds for the maintenance of organizations, compliance with the requirements of fire and anti-terrorist security, ongoing repairs and ensuring the necessary conditions for the educational process.

Part of the amendments concerns the overhaul and reconstruction of educational facilities, including the preparation of project documentation and examinations.
