In the Ulyanovsk region continues vaccination against influenza: received more than 213 thousand doses of drugs

In the Ulyanovsk region continues seasonal vaccination against influenza. More than 131,000 residents of the region have already been vaccinated. For immunization of adults and children, more than 213,000 doses of vaccines were received in medical institutions. You can get protection against infection not only in clinics, but also in enterprises, schools and kindergartens.

For the vaccination campaign, the region was provided with three drugs: Sovigripp, Ultrix Quadri and Flu-M. Vaccines are designed to prevent influenza among different age groups.

Residents of the Ulyanovsk region can be vaccinated in the clinic to which they are attached. To do this, you must pre-register for an appointment with a therapist or pediatrician. Before the procedure, the medical professional will assess the patient's health and check for contraindications.

The vaccination campaign is not limited to medical institutions. For employees of enterprises, visits of mobile medical teams are organized, which conduct vaccination directly at workplaces. Similar work is being carried out in remote settlements so that residents of rural areas do not have to specially go to district centers.

Special attention is paid to the prevention of influenza among children. Vaccination is organized in educational institutions, including schools and kindergartens. Vaccinations to minors are carried out in compliance with medical requirements and with the necessary consent of parents or legal representatives.

Experts remind that vaccination remains one of the most effective ways to prevent influenza. It helps to reduce the likelihood of the disease and the risk of serious complications. Immunization is especially relevant in the autumn-winter period, when the spread of respiratory infections traditionally increases.
