Updating of water supply networks is conducted near the settlements of Luchanka, Vasilyevka, Upper Maza, Crane and October. At these five sites, contractors plan to complete work this year.
The sixth section is included in the schedule for 2027. After the completion of all activities, a total of 14 kilometers of worn-out communications will be replaced at the Radishchev group water pipeline.
In parallel, specialists are completing the modernization of the water supply system in the working village of Bazarny Syzgan. Water supply networks and water intake are being reconstructed here. The readiness of the facility has already reached 95.1%.
Both projects are being implemented with the involvement of federal funds as part of the program to upgrade the municipal infrastructure.
In total, in 2026, the Ulyanovsk region provides 489.2 million rubles for these purposes, of which 311.3 million rubles come from the federal budget.
Financing is aimed at overhaul and reconstruction of 13 water supply and sanitation facilities. By the end of the year, construction and installation work should be completed on nine of them.
This list includes a sewer in Dimitrovgrad, a water pipeline in the industrial zone of the Moscow highway and a pressure collector in the Zasviyazhsky district of Ulyanovsk.
Also, the facilities planned for completion in 2026 include the water supply networks and water intake of Bazarny Syzgan and five sections of the Radishchev group water pipeline.
Updating utility networks is carried out under the federal project “Modernization of communal infrastructure”, which is part of the national project “Infrastructure for life”.
According to the calculations of the regional authorities, after the implementation of all the planned measures, the quality of utilities should improve for 46 thousand residents of the Ulyanovsk region.
