In Ust-Jegut detained a suspect in the attack with a knife

Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Ust-Dzhegutinsky district of Karachay-Cherkessia detained a 25-year-old local resident suspected of attacking a 35-year-old man with a knife. According to investigators, the conflict between the men escalated into a brawl, during which the suspect inflicted several stab wounds on the opponent.

At the police station, the detainee confessed; he had previously had problems with the law. In relation to the suspect, a criminal case was initiated under the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - intentional infliction of serious harm to health with the use of weapons. The sanction of the article provides for up to 10 years of imprisonment.

The victim was hospitalized, his condition is assessed as severe. The police establish all the circumstances of the incident and check possible motives of the conflict.

Earlier it was reported that in Nalchik the head of the cable car received a suspended sentence for the accident with 13 victims.
