In Veliky Novgorod until the end of 2027 will replace 30 km of sewer pipes

In Veliky Novgorod, a large-scale reconstruction of the drainage system is underway. Step by step, the urban community structure is becoming more reliable and modern. Since February of this year, work has been in full swing at the facilities, and this process resembles a painstaking collection of mosaics: on dozens of sites, the old networks are gradually replaced by new ones, the press service of the Ministry of Construction and Housing of the Novgorod region reported.

In the village of Leshino, the builders completely installed a new pipeline with a length of more than three kilometers. In Syrkovo, the business is nearing the finish line: almost all of the planned networks are installed, less than a hundred meters of pipes remain to be laid here.

In Krečevice, where the front of work stretched for more than nine kilometers, more than four kilometers of new pipes have already been laid. The process is successfully underway in the Villages, where, despite the complexity of the territory, more than seven hundred meters of modern communications appeared.

As of October 14, the total volume of the installed pipeline exceeded seventeen kilometers. However, laying pipes is only part of the way. No less important stages are ahead: pilot drilling, direct stretching of communications and restoration of improvement. The territory after the completion of all works will definitely be put in order - it must be neat and meet all modern standards.

Global transformation was made possible by the federal program of modernization of municipal infrastructure. By the end of 2027, it is planned to replace a total of thirty kilometers of sewer networks. New pipes will be laid on more than fifty plots of Veliky Novgorod.
