In Velikoselskoye settlement cleared ditches, so as not to “swim” during showers

In the Velikoselsk settlement, activists put in order the drainage system. This was announced by the acting head of the Starorous municipal district Andrey Muromtsev in the MAKS channel after a visit to the territory of the TOS "High", where improvement works are underway.

Local activists have cleared ditches, which will significantly improve the drainage system and help avoid flooding in the future.

“I see that when people unite for the sake of a common cause, the result will not be long in coming,” Muromtsev said and thanked residents for their activity and responsible approach.

Recall that after flooding in September 2024, when due to heavy rains, water accumulated in the lowlands and flooded the yards, the TOS "High" Velikoselskaya settlement decided to systematically solve the problem of drainage. A key step was the clearing of ditches by local activists. These measures should reduce the risk of flooding in low-lying areas of the territory.
