In the Verkhnekhav district of the Voronezh region increased the reliability of electricity supply

In the Verkhnekhav district completed the modernization of power grids with the introduction of a distributed automation system. The work was performed by specialists of the Rosseti Center branch - Voronezhenergo. The new equipment will allow faster detection of accidents on power lines and reduce the time of power outages.

The automated system was implemented on 13 power lines with a voltage of 10 kV. They installed 16 reclousers and 10 disconnectors with motor drive. Three more substations with a voltage of 35 kV were equipped with modern vacuum switching devices with remote control. All devices are manufactured in Russia.

If the power grid is damaged, the equipment automatically disconnects the emergency section. If technical conditions allow, the supply of electricity to some consumers is restored according to a backup scheme, without waiting for the repair of the damaged site.

This technology speeds up the detection of the fault site and helps reduce the number of residents who are left without electricity during emergency recovery operations.

According to the company, the modernization will increase the reliability of electricity supply to approximately 22 thousand residents of Verkhnekhavsky district.
