In the Vitebsk region transferred under protection new growing places of wild red book plants

Nine new growing places of wild plants included in the Red Book of Belarus have been placed under protection in the Vitebsk district. The corresponding decision of the Vitebsk District Executive Committee dated September 21, 2026 No. 1667 was published on October 16 on the National Legal Internet Portal.

Under protection are transferred the places of growth of ordinary lamb, broadleaf bell, northern linnaeus, cirrus nekkers, alpine downhill, slender fluff and pink fomitopsis. All of them grow on the territory of Vitebsk forestry.

Decision No. 1667 shall enter into force upon its official publication.
