In the Vitebsk region, regional Dazhynki-2027 will be held in Dokshitsa

During the regional festival-fair of workers of the village "Dazhynki-2026", which on October 17 take the Mior, symbolic sheaf solemnly handed over to Dokshits. It is this area in 2027 will meet the next regional festival of grain growers, reports sb.by.

At the current "Dazhynka" in the prestigious nomination among the areas for harvesting grain and legumes, the Orsha district was in the lead, the second place was taken by Vitebsk, and the honorable third was Dokshitsky. And this “bronze” has a special value: it is Dokshitsky district in 2027 will be the next point on the map of regional “Dazhynak”. This year, grain production per one ball-hectare of sown area in the Dokshitsky district amounted to 102 kilograms, the state order for the supply of grain was fulfilled in full. Moreover, the district was recognized as the absolute winner in the nomination “Among the areas for rapeseed harvesting”, giving an average value for oilseed harvest per one point-hectare at the level of 101 kilograms.

Progress at the farm level deserves special recognition. The first place in the region in the nomination “Among agricultural organizations for the harvesting of rapeseed” is in OJSC “Begoml” Dokshitsky district, where the crop yield reached 46.8 centners per hectare. Next season we will try to work even better, especially taking into account the fact that Dokshitsy is taking over the honorable baton of regional Dazhynak, says the deputy chairman of the Dokshitsky district executive committee, head of agricultural sales Natalia Vorobyeva:

- This season was not easy, to test the strength of farmers managed and the vagaries of the weather, and the need for rapid repair of equipment. However, all difficulties were overcome thanks to the most important, gold resource – people. About 1,170 people are involved in agriculture in our district, and it was their dedication, hard work, responsible approach to business that affected the worthy result.
