Office of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives started in Volgograd
It is located within the walls of the Volgograd Regional Universal Scientific Library
The opening was attended by Deputy Governor of the region Larisa Savina and Deputy General Director of PFKI Evgeny Murakhveri. According to Larisa Savina, the office will become an important link for interaction with the Foundation and will open additional prospects for creative teams and representatives of the creative industries of the Volgograd region.
Evgeny Murakhveri noted that the region has a rich cultural potential: since 2021, 138 local creative teams have received grant support for the PFKI. Now the authors will have the opportunity to undergo training, get advice on registration of applications, learn about available support tools and unite with like-minded people.
The office in Volgograd is the 41st in the country and the third in the Southern Federal District. Reception of applicants will also be organized on the basis of the regional center of folk art in the Krasnoarmeysky district. Specialists of the office will help the authors of projects competently prepare applications for participation in grant competitions. A separate area of work is support for veterans, participants of the SVO and their families: in partnership with the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, training programs on sociocultural design will be available to them.
