In Volgograd airport detained seven flights and canceled four
In the air harbor of Volgograd, schedule failures were recorded: seven flights were delayed, four more were canceled.
October 23 at the airport of Stalingrad there were significant violations in the work – they are associated with the complication of the air situation in the capital region. According to the online scoreboard, the departures of three flights to Moscow have been postponed: their departure was scheduled for 16.30, 17.20 and 17.30. The flight to St. Petersburg was also postponed – instead of 16.45, the plane will depart at 19.30.
The arrival of three aircraft to Volgograd from Moscow, Tbilisi and St. Petersburg is also delayed. Planned landing time was 17.00, 16.20 and 16.15 respectively. In addition, four flights to Moscow – two for arrival and departure – were completely canceled.
The reason for the failures was the tense situation in the Moscow air hub: according to Rosaviation, due to a massive attack, all four Moscow airports temporarily do not accept and do not release flights, the airspace over Moscow is closed.
