Doctors refer patients to outpatient oncology centers if a tumor is suspected
This is reported by the regional health service. Doctors of polyclinics and hospitals are sent to specialized centers of patients at the slightest suspicion of neoplasms. On the basis of CAOP, a full range of diagnostic procedures necessary to clarify or confirm the diagnosis is carried out. In case of confirmation of oncology, a person is immediately transferred to specialized treatment by strictly established routing.
Since July 2026, outpatient care facilities in the region have been expanded. The main innovation is the increase in the number of available therapeutic regimens, which allows you to start fighting the disease at an early stage. The development of outpatient treatment makes the treatment process more comfortable for patients themselves, eliminating the need for permanent hospitalizations.
The formation of a highly qualified oncology service in the region continues within the framework of the national project “Long and active life”. The work is carried out under the regional project “Fighting cancer” and corresponds to the tasks set by the Governor Andrey Bocharov.
