In Voronezh and districts of the region temporarily suspend television and radio broadcasting

Next week in the Voronezh region planned preventive work on the equipment of radio television stations. Because of this, the broadcast of TV channels and radio stations will be temporarily interrupted in Voronezh and several settlements of the region. Information about the restrictions was published on October 16 by the Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting Network (RTRS).

The first shutdowns will begin on the night of October 19. From 01:00 to 10:00 transmitters will not work in Voronezh, Bobrov, Boguchar, Borisoglebsk and Rossoshi.

On Wednesday, October 21, prevention will take place from 10:00 to 16:00 in the village of Noveny Pavlovsky district, Ostrogozhsk and the village of Podgorenskoye. The next day, in the same time period, work is planned in the village of Platava, Repyevsky district, Staraya Kalitva, Rossoshansky district and the village of Talovaya.

The restrictions will affect both digital packages of RTRS-1 and RTRS-2 TV channels. Among them are Channel One, Russia 1, NTV, Match TV, REN TV, STS, TNT and other federal channels. Local radio broadcasting may also be interrupted during the work.

In RTRS specified that the schedule of prevention may change: in adverse weather conditions, some work will be postponed or canceled. All scheduled shutdowns are agreed with broadcasters.
