In Voronezh from the garage seized a pound of marijuana

Employees of the Department for Drug Control of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Voronezh region stopped the fact of illegal possession of drugs on a large scale. This was reported in the press service of the department.

During the implementation of operational information, the police searched the garage of a 41-year-old local resident on Rosa Luxemburg Street. In the room, operatives found packages with crushed substance of plant origin.

The examination confirmed that the seized marijuana with a total weight of 549 grams. Note that a large size for this drug is recognized as a mass of over 100 grams.

The detainee was taken to the police station, where he gave a confession. According to the man, he collected wild cannabis and stored it in the garage exclusively for personal use.

On this fact, a criminal case was initiated for the illegal acquisition, storage, transportation, manufacture, processing without the purpose of selling narcotic drugs on a large scale. The sanction of the article provides for a penalty of imprisonment for up to 10 years.
