In Voronezh SIZO No. 3 conducted exercises to extinguish a conditional fire

In SIZO No. 3 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Voronezh region, fire and tactical exercises were held with the participation of employees of the institution and units of the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Participants worked out actions in case of fire and interaction of emergency services.

According to the training scenario, the fire occurred in one of the premises of the security building No. 1. On-duty officers detected a conditional alarm, transmitted information to the duty unit and began evacuation.

Arrived fire crews conducted reconnaissance, determined the place of conditional fire and worked out actions for its localization. Emergencies Ministry staff also trained to use fire equipment and special equipment.

During the exercises, the operation of the warning system, the state of fire water supply, the availability of evacuation exits and access roads were checked. SIZO staff worked out the evacuation and initial actions in the fire.

The training was aimed at improving the preparedness of personnel for emergency situations and working out coordinated actions with fire and rescue units.
