In the Voronezh region, the warning about the storm will be valid for another day
Residents of the region are advised not to lose vigilance: in a thunderstorm it is better to stay away from open areas and not to seek shelter under lonely trees.
Forecasters of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia updated the map of dangerous phenomena for the regions of the Central Federal District. According to new data, the yellow level of weather danger announced in the Voronezh region because of the thunderstorm, decided not to remove — it will be valid until 18:00 Thursday, October 15.
Initially, it was assumed that thunderstorm activity with lightning and thunder would remain in the region only during the day on October 14 - from six in the morning to six in the evening. However, the forecast was revised: now meteorologists assume that the dangerous phenomenon in some places will make itself felt the next day.
In addition, due to the continuing threat of fires in forests and open areas, the yellow level of danger was also extended until 06:00 Friday, October 16.
