In the Voronezh region checked about a thousand employers for illegal employment

The government of the Voronezh region held a meeting of the Commission on combating illegal employment. The event was held by Deputy Governor Igor Lotkov. Representatives of regional ministries, as well as employees of federal security and supervisory agencies participated in the discussion.

Maya Mandrykina, Minister of Labor and Employment of Population, said that in 2026, 970 employers were considered at meetings of working groups and commissions of different levels, who found signs of using informal work. Most often, commercial enterprises were in the field of view of the commissions.

During the meeting, we studied the materials of three problem enterprises and heard the explanations of their managers.

Igor Lotkov drew attention to the importance of finding new formats for working with employers who show signs of illegal employment, as well as the use of various mechanisms to encourage them to perform their duties.

Deputy Head of Voronezh Sergey Glazyev spoke about measures to combat shadow employment at the municipal level. The city-wide working group, established at the end of 2025, has provided significant additional inflows of insurance premiums and protected the labor rights of many citizens.
