In the Vyborg district, the governor of Drozdenko opened a movement on the “beautiful highway”

Governor Alexander Drozdenko took part in the opening ceremony of the section of the A-181 Scandinavia highway, from the 100th to the 134th kilometer. Thus, the main stage of the highway connecting St. Petersburg and Vyborg is completed, the press service of the regional government reported.

Alexander Drozdenko recalled that in the late 90s – early zero years this track was called the “road of death”. On a two-lane with heavy traffic, there were many accidents.

On behalf of the head of state, the reconstruction of the highway began in 2014. And today this track Drozdenko called “the beautiful highway”. It has three lanes in each direction and is fully lit. This road solves the strategic tasks of both the Leningrad region and Russia as a whole, the governor stressed.

Earlier, “MK in Leningrad region” said that on the highway Petrovo – Maluks station for repair used 650 tons of material.
