Since the beginning of 2026, the Center for Countering Cyber Attacks in Yakutia has repelled 2,056 DDoS attacks and registered 94 information security incidents. The scale of threats continues to grow. In 2022, about 13 million malicious traffic events were recorded, and in subsequent years their number exceeded 50 million annually.
The Center for Countering Cyberattacks was opened in November 2024 during the Digital Diamond Forum. Its specialists monitor the digital infrastructure of the region around the clock.
According to the Minister of Innovations, Digital Development and Infocommunication Technologies of Yakutia Petr Nikolaev, new organizations are planned to be connected to monitoring in the future.
