In Ugra, power engineers worked out the elimination of fuel spills at facilities

In the Khanty-Mansiysk district, specialists of JSC "Ugraenergo" together with the rescue formation "Dnepr" conducted exercises on actions in case of diesel fuel spill. The trainings were held at two sites at once - at the fuel and lubricants warehouse in the village of Kedrovy and at the power plant in the village of Urmanny.

Participants practiced coordinated actions in case of a conditional accident: localized the spill, eliminated the consequences and coordinated interaction between services. All measures were carried out in strict accordance with federal requirements for the prevention and elimination of oil spills and oil products.

According to the results of the exercises, the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for Ugra issued a positive conclusion: the power engineers confirmed their readiness to promptly respond to such incidents at their facilities.
