In Transbaikalia, hunters eliminated a bear coming to the village

The regional authorities of the Trans-Baikal Territory officially announced the elimination of a large predator, which regularly approached the houses of the village of Doroninskoye and posed a direct danger to the local population.

A specially formed squad of professional hunters and inspectors successfully tracked down and neutralized an adult bear in the Uletov district, preventing possible tragic consequences for people. According to official data of the administration, a special high-alert regime has been introduced throughout the territory of the region since the end of September due to the abnormally high activity of forest animals that massively leave their usual habitat and enter settlements.

In order to ensure the safety of citizens in the region, almost a hundred mobile units uniting hundreds of experienced specialists are on duty around the clock. By mid-October, the forces of these patrols on the territory of Transbaikalia within the framework of forced population regulation have eliminated more than a hundred dangerous predators.

Earlier it was reported that in India, an elephant trampled to death a drunk worker who went to his grandmother.
