In the Zaporozhye region continues vaccination of animals against rabies

Veterinary service of Zaporizhzhia region continues activities for vaccination of animals against rabies. For nine months, the state veterinary service vaccinated 81,444 domestic and 5,439 farm animals.

The Department of Veterinary Medicine of the Zaporozhye region reminded that rabies is a particularly dangerous infectious disease transmitted from animals to humans, and stressed that after the appearance of clinical signs, the disease almost always leads to death. In this regard, timely vaccination of animals is considered as the main measure of protection.
