In Zaporozhye region will be trained under the program “Voluntary firefighter”

In Zaporozhye region from 19 to 23 October 2026 will be held the program of additional professional education “Voluntary firefighter”. It is organized by the Ministry of Youth Policy of the region.

The purpose of the course is to prepare volunteers to participate in fire safety, fire extinguishing and emergency rescue operations. During the training, students will master the regulatory framework of fire safety and labor protection requirements, learn how to use fire extinguishing equipment, fire-technical weapons and personal protective equipment. The program also includes the basics of radio communication, ways to save people and property, first aid rules and fire prevention measures.

The training format combines theory and practice: participants will get acquainted with fire and rescue equipment and equipment, work out skills in extinguishing fires and undergo an internship in the department of the State Fire Service. The course will end with a final certification.

The program will increase emergency preparedness, strengthen public safety and support the development of volunteerism in the region.
