In Zheleznogorsk on October 23 will bring an additional batch of preferential drugs

The Ministry of Health of the Kursk region solves the problem of issuing preferential medicines in pharmacies of Zheleznogorsk and Zheleznogorsk district.

In the fourth quarter of 2026, the need for certain drugs increased, partly due to increased demand. Now in limited quantities there are drugs for the treatment of diabetes, bronchial asthma, rheumatoid arthritis and cancer.

In 2026, more than 2.8 billion rubles were sent to purchase preferential drugs. Over 1,500 auctions have been held. Only to Zheleznogorsk and Zheleznogorsk district, medicines were shipped for almost 308.8 million rubles.

To solve the problem, the Ministry of Health of the region received additional funding in October and began purchasing missing drugs. Incoming medicines will immediately go to pharmacies.

While the main supplies are waiting, the Ministry of Health, together with Kursk Pharmacy, redistributes the available medicines between the pharmacies of the region. Some of the drugs are sent to Zheleznogorsk.

On Friday, October 23, an additional batch of drugs will arrive in the city. It was ordered by the pharmacies of the Vitafarm network on October 20.
