Vaccination in Vologda region passed 169 thousand people

The Ministry of Health of the region notes that the situation with SARS and influenza remains favorable. In September, there was an epidemiological upsurge, which has already declined.

Currently, there is an active immunization of the population. It is planned to vaccinate 60% of the population. First of all, children are vaccinated from six months, health workers, employees of educational institutions, sports, culture, communications, military and civil servants. Also in the area of attention people over 60 years. In addition to flu vaccinations, they are also offered immunization against pneumococcal infection.

The new vaccines have replaced all strains of influenza. Used drugs "Ultrix Quadri", "Grippol plus", "FLU-M", "Sovigripp", Grippol Plus. All vaccines are well tolerated.

So far, 169,000 people have been vaccinated, including 66,000 children. Immunization of minors is recommended to be carried out before the autumn holidays. The child will develop immunity while he is at home.
