Vasily Anokhin: October in Smolensk is held under the sign "Key to career"

The Governor of the Smolensk region Vasily Anokhin notes that October in Smolensk is held under the sign “Key to career”. At the beginning of the month, several major events were held in the Smolensk region aimed at helping young people find a professional vocation. In particular, on October 5, the IV All-Russian Pedagogical Readings were held in the regional center, which became a platform for dialogue between government representatives, experts and youth working in the socio-pedagogical sphere. From 20 to 23 October, the International Youth Festival “Digital Atom” is planned, which will combine sports and information technologies. In addition, an educational camp “Career Drive” will open in the Orlyonok children’s health camp near Smolensk, and “Career Day” will be held at the Smolensk State University of Sports on October 22.

September in Smolensk was dedicated to the theme “The key to travel”, in which the region hosted guests from various regions of Russia and friendly countries. One of the significant events was the youth quest “Youth Journey for the Keys of Success”, whose participants visited historical and memorable places of the city in the format of a team game.

The main event of the past month were large-scale programs dedicated to the City Day and the 83rd anniversary of the liberation of Smolensk from the Nazi invaders. The central element of the festive program was a large concert on Lenin Square with the participation of Sergey Lazarev, the Belarusian vocal group “Pure Voice” and the art group “Belarus”, which gathered more than 20 thousand people.
