"Luck counts." Anton Khabarov and his wife told about the subtleties of life together

- Anton, you rarely go out. Tell me, how is your creative life going? They say that it is difficult for actors to find work now.

Anton: Depending on who says it... Young actors are hard, yes.

- And they shoot the same ...

Anton: I don't see that kind of problem. I see a lot of talented young artists.

- Can you choose where to play?

Anton: Yes, I am a free person in this regard, I have a successful career, but this is not my merit. In this profession, luck is very important. This is the most important thing an artist can have. I know a million talented artists who are just not lucky.

- Your career is really on the rise right now. Have you ever had a failure in your life?

Anton: Well, my first performance, for example, in Sovremennik, was a failure from the point of view of general opinion. I didn't get it right, it was a big stage, and I played like I did in a six-row theater school, which is usually small scenes.

- You came in bright clothes today. Who helps you choose things in the store?

Elena: Sometimes we find ourselves in a store together, and then Anton, of course, helps, but usually I choose everything myself.

Anton: I'm happy when she buys something new.

- You and Elena have been together for 26 years, which is a rarity these days. Share the secret of such a long relationship.

- Elena: I think you need to respect each other, no matter what happens, and understand that the person next to you is not you, and this is another person who has freedom. And you have to always support each other and always fight to be together, because it's very easy to give up and say, "Okay, I'll start from scratch." But fighting for feelings, for love, for relationships and for each other is always very important.

Anton: I don't know any secrets (smiling).

- How are household responsibilities distributed in your family? Anton, can you, for example, assemble a dresser?

No, I can't.

- Elena: All right, I'll admit, I'm collecting the dresser from us (laughs).

- And if you want to relax from the assembly of the dresser and work, what do you like to do?

- Anton: I usually sit at home, play chess, I do not like social events. I also like lying on the couch. I’m no different than most people (smiles).

Do you watch movies with your husband?

- Of course, and I always admire.

- No criticism?

- When we need to correct a certain moment, I will say: we are still colleagues.

- You have enough grown children already. Son 19, daughter 16. How do you feel about the other half of your children?

- Anton: I'm a very kind dad. Vladik has been dating a girl for about three years, they already have a serious relationship. But we try not to interfere in the privacy of our children

No, we are not chasing anyone, we are all happy. We wish our children the best and that everything goes well.
