Veelikoluk court arrested accused of attacking pensioner at ATM

Velikolu city court considered the petition of the investigator to elect a measure of restraint 27-year-old local resident, previously repeatedly convicted. This “MK in Pskov” reported in the press service of the courts of the Pskov region.

On October 11, 2026, the accused noticed an elderly woman withdrawing money at an ATM. He followed her, sprayed pepper spray in her face and took a bag with a purse, after which he fled.

The defense asked for a subscription not to leave, but the court took into account the severity of the charge, criminal record and data on the identity of the accused. The petition of the investigator was satisfied: the man was detained for 2 months.
