Vitaly Korolev discussed with teachers the development of education in the Tver region

On October 20, the Governor of the Tver region Vitaly Korolev held a meeting with teachers, as the head of the region told in his channel in MAX.

“We discussed the development of education in the Upper Volga region and the challenges we face today,” said Vitaly Korolev.

He noted that 2026 can be called a landmark for the Tver pedagogical school:

In addition, next year the competition “Teacher of the Year of Russia” will be held in the Upper Volga region, and preparations for this event have already begun. Vitaly Korolev noted that systematic work is underway to increase the prestige of the teaching profession.

“The meeting discussed in detail what concerns each teacher. Modernization and construction of new schools, strengthening the material and technical base so that each of our educational institutions meets high standards. Personnel issues and remuneration of teachers, the governor wrote.

Vitaly Korolev stressed that the proposals of teachers are valuable for him, the announced initiatives have been taken into work. He thanked the teachers for their indifference and responsible attitude to the matter.
