On October 21, Governor Vitaly Korolev held a meeting with the winners of the first youth program “Personnel for the Upper Volga Region”, the head of the region said in his channel in MAX.

50 people applied for participation in the pilot project, 11 of them became the best of the best. Vitaly Korolev congratulated the children and discussed with them issues of concern to the younger generation. He stressed that the program “Personnel for the Upper Volga region” is an initiative of youth, which was announced to the head of the region in January at the Student Forum, and Vitaly Korolev supported the aspirations of the children.

“Today it was interesting to learn from the young people what the project gave them. The students note: the ability to work in a team, to find non-standard solutions in conditions as close as possible to practical work. For many, this will be a great start in their careers, the governor wrote.

The head of the Tver region instructed to help graduates of the first program with employment, and also decided to make it regular. The project will be improved taking into account the wishes expressed at the meeting.
