Vladimir Kukharev: the improvement of the National Unity Park will soon be completed

National Unity Park, adjacent to the National Museum of Belarus on the street. Orel, will be a real decoration of the capital. This was told by the Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Vladimir Kukharev in an interview with the newspaper “Evening Minsk” on the eve of the 959th anniversary of the city, the correspondent of the agency “Minsk-Novosti”.

Most of the new park has already been built. Its size is about 27 hectares.

- We waited for the builders to finish the work in order to occupy the territory where the construction town was located. The improvement of the remaining area will be completed in the near future, the chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee said.

He noted that from there, through the underground passage, it will be possible to go directly to the State Flag Square.

- And taking into account the fact that the Independence Palace is visited by a large number of excursion groups, we will get a landmark for the city complex of patriotic orientation, the head of the city added.
