Vladimir Vladimirov: more than 1.1 million residents of Stavropol underwent medical examination since the beginning of the year

The Stavropol region is developing preventive medicine. The Governor of the region Vladimir Vladimirov said that since the beginning of the year, more than 1.1 million residents have undergone medical examination. Another 273,000 people were tested for reproductive health. 119,000 adults and 477,000 children were examined. In total, more than 1.7 million Stavropol residents are covered by preventive measures – the national project “Long and active life” helps.

“The task is to ensure that as many countrymen as possible can check their health in time and, if necessary, get help,” the governor said.

Vladimirov urged not to postpone a visit to the doctor until symptoms appear: medical examination reveals diseases and risk factors in the early stages.

Residents of 18-39 years can take it every three years, from 40 years - annually. You need to contact the clinic at the place of attachment, examinations are free.
