Vladimir region became the anti-leader in the birth rate among neighbors
According to EMISS, the total fertility rate in the Vladimir region is 1.055 children per woman

According to EMISS, the total fertility rate (TFR) in the Vladimir region is 1.055 children per woman. This is the worst indicator among all the geographical neighbors of the region.
For comparison, in the Moscow, Ryazan, Yaroslavl and Ivanovo regions, the TFR ranges from 1.10-1.30, and in Nizhny Novgorod it reaches 1.30-1.50. The Russian average is 1.329.
Recall that for simple reproduction of the population (when the generation of children completely replaces parents), a coefficient of 2.1 is required.
It is worth noting that the TFR in the Vladimir region remained approximately at the level of 2024, while in most regions of Russia (73 of 85) the birth rate continues to fall.
