The Department of Transport and Road Management of the city of Tula announced a tender for the development of urban digital infrastructure

The Department of Transport and Road Management of the city of Tula announced a tender for the development of urban digital infrastructure. For these purposes and the city budget will be allocated 3 million rubles.
For these funds, the contractor must connect information boards with a forecast of the arrival of passenger transport, a network of public Wi-Fi points, as well as video surveillance cameras to the Internet at a speed of 100 Mbps.
The work will be carried out on the basis of the existing fiber optic data transmission network integrated into the Smart City system. This approach will accelerate the implementation of services and increase the efficiency of the use of existing infrastructure.
Among the key tasks is the organization of a stable high-speed connection for all connected devices. This will ensure not only the prompt transfer of data from surveillance cameras, but also the timely update of information on transport scoreboards so that passengers can plan their trips more accurately. At the same time, residents and visitors will have access to public Wi-Fi at key points in the city.
Recall, as previously wrote “MK in Tula”, the authorities of Tula decided to purchase 11 electronic scoreboards for 2.4 million rubles.
