Instead of a reader's card - a form of answers: visited the rehearsal testing on the basis of the library

The silence in the reading room today is special. Instead of the usual rustle of periodicals pages, there is a concentrated creaking of black gel pens on answer forms. This academic year, the Republican Institute of Knowledge Control (RIKZ) and the libraries of Minsk launched a unique joint project: now you can undergo rehearsal testing literally in the neighboring yard. Correspondent sb.by visited one of these sites - in the Central library named after Yanka Kupala.

The idea to transfer rehearsal testing from huge university classrooms to cozy halls of libraries was so successful that in October and November all vacant places were sold out very quickly, says the director of the Republican Institute of Knowledge Control Dmitry Mironov:

- I love reading, a regular library visitor. I once noticed that today there are fewer children in their halls, and I sincerely wanted to return young people to these unique spaces. So the idea was born to organize rehearsal testing on the basis of libraries. This is our small, but very important social project – “Let’s go to the library with RICK”. This idea was widely supported. The first module includes 12 libraries, but the number will increase. If the project becomes more popular, we will be able to use even more sites. As of today, in October and November, all the places for testing and writing the test within the framework of our social project are completely filled.

Tests at the databases of libraries are organized directly by RICZ specialists, and we also involve volunteers - students of BSPU. We decided to reduce the processing time to 5 working days instead of the standard 10. Our specialists fully took over the testing and transportation of forms, which significantly optimized logistics.

This year, RT has been extensively updated: applicants are waiting for a single eight-month course of three consecutive modules for each subject. Now the first of them is just passing.

Now each module is divided into two parts: the test itself (on-site or online) and the information unit. The main innovation was the interactive assistant RICZIK, which for the first time gave students access to analytical materials directly in their personal offices.

The format of the info materials is as clear as possible for young people - these are short video presentations. RIKZ specialists have done a great job and analyzed in detail the typical mistakes of the past years: from technical errors in filling out the forms to substantive nuances in the tasks themselves. From module to module, this knowledge base will grow, building into a single training system, emphasizes Dmitry Mironov:

- The project was based on large-scale analytical work: we studied the results of RT in detail over the past three years. It is important to understand that updated rehearsal testing is no longer just a test of knowledge, but a full-fledged educational course. Our goal is not to replace the teacher. We do not provide basic knowledge of the subject. Now we will carefully analyze the results of the first module, see what technical and substantive errors the guys will make. Taking these data into account, the second module will be filled with even deeper materials to prepare for the centralized exam and the January RT.

Today, the Yanka Kupala library is full of sold-outs – all 28 prepared places are occupied, says Elena Chernyavskaya, director of the Centralized System of State Public Libraries of Minsk:

Libraries are excellent for testing. We have seats, reading and lecture halls. Let them not on a large stream, but cozy and comfortable. The main advantage is that our readers are already used to these walls, and more importantly, libraries are closer to home. We are scattered throughout the city, in every neighborhood. At this stage, 12 libraries are involved in the project - from small district to such large ones as the Yanka Kupala Central Library. Libraries prepare not only premises, but also funds. We have excellent literature that we will offer students so they can further prepare for this serious challenge. In the spring, when there is already a control CT, they will need to fold the knowledge system to successfully pass it and get the highest score.

Elena Chernyavskaya told how the testing point was prepared:

- Modern libraries have long ceased to be just book depositories. We have a lot of interactives, quests, tournaments. To create the conditions for a classical audience, we specially transformed the space, arranged tables, prepared water. I want the kids not only to write the test calmly, but also to see that the library is always open for them.

On the walls - wall clocks, on mobile stands from RIKZ - visual instructions for filling out forms. The librarians themselves also prepared: for each subject day (today they pass the Russian language), exhibitions of useful scientific and educational literature and reference books are made in the hall.

Before the test, we met the participants. There is almost no excitement on the faces - the situation disposes.

Tenth-grader of Gymnasium No 38 Ksenia Tishenkova decided to check her strength in advance:

- I plan to enter BSU, most likely, on an economic profile. I will take Russian, English and mathematics. I decided to start preparing from the 10th grade, so as not to overload myself in prom. The fact that the RT item was opened in the library is very convenient! I have a long way to go to university and the library is close to home.

Eleven-grader SS No. 34 Elizaveta Alexeyuk shared her impressions:

- My choice is economics or law. I have been studying for a long time: I solve tests, I study with a tutor. You know what's good about libraries? In large university buildings, you sometimes feel uncomfortable, it is easy to get lost there, it is unnecessary stress. And here it is chambered, calm and very comfortable. I'm scoring 60-70 for the first time, and then we'll sort out the mistakes.

Sofia Poncratova, a student of SS 28 in Minsk, appreciated the calm atmosphere of the Republic of Tatarstan on the basis of the library:

- Very comfortable, calm - as if I did not come to the exam. I plan to go to the MVD Academy. I know that for girls there is a strict selection - only about 10 people are taken, but I am not afraid of difficulties. I am ready to pass physical education and medical board calmly: at school I constantly participated in all competitions, and for the soul I am engaged in dancing. For admission, I hand over Russian language, social science and history. Initially, she prepared English, but plans have changed, and with history, the choice of directions has become even wider. I prepare for exams hard - myself and with tutors. My new history teacher is very motivated: she is young, understanding and always ready to explain the topic at least ten times. My main life hack in preparation is discipline: just put down the phone, set a task for a day (for example, solve a certain amount of tests), and do not get distracted. I plan to work harder this winter. The Ministry of Education named the dates of the CE and CG in 2027
