In the Vladimir region, traffic cameras film the phone in the driver’s hand and unfastened belt

To reduce accidents on the roads of the Vladimir region, two new hardware and software complexes for automatic fixation of traffic violations were commissioned.

They were installed on the highway Koloksha - Kolchugino - Alexandrov - Upper Dvoriki, 110 km, near the village of Mashkovo, and on the federal highway M-7 "Volga", 311 km.

The choice of locations is due to the high concentration of accidents on curved sections of the path, where drivers systematically violate overtaking rules and speed.

The installed equipment belongs to the latest generation complexes. In addition to fixing speeding and exiting the oncoming traffic lane, neural network algorithms allow you to identify the facts of using a mobile phone by the driver, the absence of seat belts for the driver and passengers and other offences provided for in Chapter I. 12 RF Administrative Code.

After the launch of the equipment, the total number of fixed complexes in the region will increase from six to eight.

The network of operating points includes:

d. Vladimir (Yurievskaya Street);

murom (October Street);

sections of federal highways M-7 and A-108;

regional road Yuryev-Polish – Kolchugino.
