In the Vladimir region repaired the road to tourist places

In the Vladimir region completed the repair of the section of the highway Pokrov – Novoselovo – Kirzhach length of 7.8 km. During the season, three segments with a length of 5.5 km in the Pokrov district and three more with a total length of 2.3 km in the Kirzhach district were updated. The old coating was removed, new layers of asphalt concrete were laid and the curbs were strengthened.

In total, this year in the region, according to the national project “Infrastructure for Life”, more than 50 km of roads that are included in tourist routes and lead to attractions were brought into the norm.

In Pokrov, tourists can admire the architecture in the style of Russian Baroque, learn about Yamshchik traditions, try the famous Pokrov gingerbread and make a wish at the monument “Chocolate Fairy”.

In Kirzhach, guests are waiting for the ancient Annunciation Monastery, the longest wooden pedestrian bridge in Russia - Typographic Bridge, its length is 555 meters, unusual museums and places associated with the history of cosmonautics. It was here that the first astronauts, including Yuri Gagarin, trained.
