The driver of “Deu Nexia” died in an accident in Izhevsk
The tragedy unfolded on the 10 m kilometer of the road "Izhevsk - Malaya Purga" (Zavyalovsky district).
Tragic road accident in the Zavyalovsky district: the driver of Daewoo Nexia died, driving on the main road. On October 20, 2026, at about 16:30, a fatal accident occurred on the 10th kilometer of the Izhevsk – Malaya Purga highway (Zavyalovsky district).
According to preliminary data, the 68-year-old driver of the Daewoo Nexia, making a departure from a secondary road, did not give way to a vehicle moving on the main one, and collided with the Toyota Land Cruiser. A 60-year-old man was driving the SUV.
As a result of the collision, the driver of the Daewoo Nexia suffered life-threatening injuries. Removal of the body of the deceased from the car was engaged in rescuers of Udmurtia.
At the scene of the incident, an investigative team and traffic police officers work. All the circumstances and causes of the incident are established.
State traffic inspection reminds: when leaving a secondary road, always make sure that the maneuver is safe and give advantage to vehicles moving along the main road.
