Leningrad drivers warned about restrictions in traffic on federal highways

On October 8, several federal highways of the Leningrad region will introduce traffic restrictions in connection with road works. This was reported in the press service of FKU Uprdor “North-West”.

On the R-21 Kola highway from the 12th to the 260th kilometer, as well as on the M-10 Rossiya from the 593rd to the 674th kilometer, a speed limit will be introduced for driving in both directions from 08:00 to 19:00. At the 652nd kilometer of the M-10 highway, traffic towards Moscow will be completely blocked on a permanent basis due to work on the restoration of the barrier fence.

On the A-120 from 34 to 0 km and back from 08:00 to 17:00, the speed on the right lane will be limited due to mowing the grass and eliminating blurs. On the A-114 from 106 to 149 km from 08:00 to 19:00 will wash, clean and repair the road. On the section A-114 from 331 to 531 km will also limit the speed during the day.

On the highway A-181 "Scandinavia" from the 47th to the 100th km from 08:00 to 20:00 will mow grass and repair hatches (47-65 km). At the entrance to Vyborg No1 from the 1st to the 3rd km will remove the estimate (08:00-19:00). On 121-130 km will mow the grass, on 100-121 km - to apply markings. At the entrance to Svetogorsk (0-48 km and 0-24 km) the drainage trays will be repaired and the coating will be cleaned (08:00-20:00). On the highway A-181 "Magistral" (0-124 km) will eliminate asphalt deformation (08:00-20:00).

On the A-121 Sortavala highway from 08:00 to 20:00, traffic will be limited in sections from 0 to 37 km and from 37 to 78 km. Here they will remove garbage, wash the coating, replace fences, install signs, repair the canvas and eliminate blurs. Water drainage trays will be updated at 15-27 km. From 33-34 km towards St. Petersburg, waterproofing and concrete are restored until October 16, 20:00. Also, stops, recreation areas will be cleaned, soil will be removed and small forms will be installed for 134 km.

On the A-180 Narva highway, on the stretch from the 35th to the 40th kilometer, in the direction of Kingisepp, from 8:00 to 17:00, traffic on the right lane will be limited. This is necessary for cleaning storm drains. On the route R-23, connecting St. Petersburg with Pskov, Pustoshka, Neveda and the border with Belarus, during the day from 08:00 to 18:00 repair work will be carried out. As part of these activities, seams and cracks will be shed, roadsides will be sprinkled and leveled, and road markings will be applied. Temporary traffic restrictions will vary depending on the specific section of the road and can be valid from 08:00 to 17:00, from 09:00 to 18:00 or from 10:00 to 17:00.
