Volgograd explained what 7 psychoactive substances came under the control of the Ministry of internal Affairs
The aim of the initiative is to curb the spread of these substances, establish clear control mechanisms and ensure accountability for illicit trafficking.

RIA Novosti got acquainted with the draft government decree in which the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation proposes to introduce state control over seven potent substances with psychoactive effects, illegally circulating in the country. This is reflected in the explanatory note to the draft document on amendments to the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of December 29, 2007 No. 964.
The list of potentially controlled substances includes synthetic opioids and sulfur-containing compounds that have a sedative effect. Special attention is paid to etomidate, a drug for intravenous anesthesia, which in some Asian countries began to be used as part of liquids for electronic cigarettes. Also on the list is the anabolic substance SARM (selective androgen receptor modulator).
In addition, based on the proposals of the FSB of Russia, the authorities intend to control the turnover of bee nuts (the fruits of the Areca Catechu areca palm). The document notes that the product containing psychoactive arecolin is actively in demand among young people and is available both through legal trading platforms and through specialized Internet resources of a dubious nature.
All these substances are not registered in the State Register of Medicines and are not used in Russian medicine. Within the framework of the project, it is also planned to update the norms of large size of potent substances under Article 234 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
