Volgograd explained what factors can cause headaches

According to RIA Novosti, neurologist Ekaterina Demyanovskaya listed everyday factors that can provoke a headache. Among the common reasons, the specialist distinguishes stress, colds, as well as some usual actions - for example, skipping breakfast.

The doctor paid special attention to the seasonal factor: in autumn, daylight hours are reduced, and this directly affects sleep patterns. In the morning, it is more difficult for people to wake up, and in the evening, many people spend more time in front of screens - all this can disrupt the usual rhythm and cause discomfort.

A non-obvious risk factor is dehydration. As Demyanovskaya noted in a comment to RIA Novosti, in cool weather, the feeling of thirst becomes less pronounced, so a person can consume less liquid than necessary.

In addition, in the autumn period, the likelihood of colds and viral infections increases. In such cases, the headache often accompanies other symptoms: fever, weakness, nasal congestion.

At the same time, the neurologist stressed that pain in the forehead and nose does not always indicate inflammation of the sinuses: sometimes these are manifestations of migraine or tension headache, which are easily confused with signs of sinusitis.
