Volgograd explained the procedure for admission for expelled students
The Ministry of education of Russia explained the procedure for admission of students expelled for disciplinary violations. The Ministry proposed to give universities the right to refuse such persons to re-enter within five years.

As noted in the ministry, the decision will be made by the university itself, taking into account specific circumstances. The rule is aimed at strengthening discipline and applies only to those who were expelled as a disciplinary measure. It, as explained by Gazeta.Ru, does not apply to cases of expulsion at will or because of academic failure, and does not limit the possibility of admission to other universities.
Changes are planned to be made to the order of the Ministry of Education of November 27, 2024 No. 821, valid until September 1, 2029.
