Volgograd residents October 23 is waiting for a temporary geomagnetic lull
Good news for anyone who is sensitive to the vagaries of space weather: after a series of magnetic storms at the beginning of the week, the Earth will finally exhale

On Friday, October 23, the planet's magnetosphere will begin to calm down. This is evidenced by the data of the Solar Astronomy Laboratory IKI RAS.
The peak of geomagnetic activity occurred on October 22: the Kp index reached 5 points, which corresponds to a weak magnetic storm of the G1 level. Today, October 23, the Kp-index will not exceed 4 points, which means that solar activity takes a temporary pause.
According to the forecast of astrophysicists, the probability of a magnetic storm on this day is small – only 7%. But the calm geomagnetic environment accounts for as much as 60%.
Meteosensitive Volgograd residents can not be afraid of deterioration of health: the day will pass without pressure surges. However, it is too early to relax: according to experts, this is only a temporary lull.
The ejection of a small prominence was recorded the day before, for which calculations show a noticeable probability of reaching the Earth. Because of this, another slight deterioration of the geomagnetic situation is possible on Saturday and Sunday. Storms are not yet predicted, but a yellow perturbed level can be reached, scientists commented on the situation on October 22.
Doctors advise not to waste time and use respite to recuperate: walk more in the fresh air, get enough sleep and avoid excessive exertion. In general, gain energy . – on the weekend it can be useful.
