Volgograd residents learned about the amount of maximum payments on the sick leave in 2027

Working citizens will be able to earn more money during illness in 2027. The Social Fund of Russia has announced new maximum amounts of benefits for temporary disability, which will begin to operate next year.

According to the portal “Explain.rf”, the maximum cost of one day on sick leave will increase to 7 860 rubles. This means that the maximum amount of payment for a full calendar month will increase from 207.5 thousand to 239 thousand rubles.

In total, for these purposes (including maternity benefits), the budget provides about 1.6 trillion rubles. More than 21 million people across the country can count on financial support in case of illness or decree.
