Volgograd square Alexandra Pakhmutova is waiting for the renewal of art objects
Put in order are going to stand and thematic design of "Gramophone" - they want to return the former appearance.
In Voroshilov district, they are preparing for the restoration of art objects in the park named after Alexandra Pakhmutova. The preparatory stage is still in progress.
Specialists are working out the technical details: how exactly to put the elements in order, how much work is to be done and how long it will take. The "Gramophone" itself for the time of preparation moved to the base of the MBU "Housing and utilities of the Voroshilov district".
Volgograd cherishes the memory of its famous native of Stalingrad and is very proud of her. Thus, thanks to the initiative of Governor Andrey Bocharov, personal awards and scholarships for creative youth appeared, as well as an annual music festival. The name of Alexandra Nikolaevna was given to the school-thousanderer number 7 and the square on the slope of the Tsaritsa River.
People’s Artist of the USSR, Hero of Socialist Labor, Honorary Citizen of Volgograd Region and Hero City of Volgograd, legendary composer Alexander Pakhmutova spent several days in Volgograd in May. She took part in the celebrations dedicated to the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, including the action “Light of the Great Victory”.
