Vologda region entered the TOP-10 regions of the country in terms of digital literacy of citizens

On the eve of the Programmer’s Day, the results of the action “IT-dictant 2026” were summed up. The events took place in all regions of Russia in September.

3 631 residents of our region were tested. In the Vologda region, the dictation was written 4,341 times. 14.51% of the passes were performed on a maximum of 100 points. In the region, the average score was 78.33 points, in Russia - 73.04. According to this indicator, the Vologda region entered the TOP-10 regions with mass participation, overtaking the Nizhny Novgorod, Kursk and Astrakhan regions.

In some areas, the Vologda region also achieved better results. The highest average scores were received in the blocks “Critical perception of information” (83.79 points), “Digital consumption” (78.64), “Financial operations, online purchases” (80.63), “Use of social network functionality and production of multimedia content” (79.34), “Digital security” (79.22), “Use of digital devices and their synchronization” (78.20) and “Search for information” (77.46).
