Vologda veterans of special operation participate in patriotic education of youth

To help fighters find themselves, a personnel project “Heroes of the Russian North” was launched in the Vologda region. The finalists of the program were 35 participants of the special operation. For several months, they were trained in different areas, developing their leadership qualities. At the end of the course, many went into business, took up senior positions in government and departmental institutions. Others continued their training. So, now 13 graduates of the program under the national project "Personnel" are undergoing advanced training courses in data analytics, in the field of additional education and pedagogy.

Work with young people is a popular activity among the participants of the SVO. For them it is an opportunity to share experience with the younger generation, to become an example of responsibility, loyalty and patriotism. Students and students clearly see what it means to respect their homeland and its priorities, think about their own professional path, rethink values.

Special operations fighters participate in youth events, hold meetings with children, go to work in schools, colleges, centers of additional education. For example, nine veterans of the SVO currently work in educational organizations.

So, since this academic year, veteran Ivan Andreevich Lopatin has been working at school No41 in Vologda. He teaches the course “Fundamentals of Security and Protection of the Motherland”. Ivan Andreevich talks about modern weapons and tactics, provides pre-conscription training.

Vologzhanin spent a year and a half in the SVO zone. He participated in the fighting from the first days of the special operation: he served in the special forces detachment first as a rifleman and then as a sanitary instructor. He returned home in 2024. He found his vocation in pedagogy - the corresponding higher education at Vologzhan is.

“Children see what you tell not as a theorist who looked at something somewhere, went to a class, but that you did it yourself, you were there.” That is, they are interested, they listen to you more attentively, said Ivan Lopatin, a veteran of the special operation, a teacher of the Observatory.

Three participants of the SVO work with children in the center of military-patriotic education “Avangard”: Deputy Director for profile work Alexei Anatolyevich Rybalchenko, educator Nikolai Viktorovich Goncharenko and teacher Alexei Anatolyevich Maltsev. They share their experience with the children on “courage lessons” and practical exercises.

And in the cadet school "Ships of Prionezhye" there are deputy director for profile training Sergey Anatolyevich Nikolaev and teacher Vasily Vladimirovich Sokolov, who also instill discipline and combat training in students.

“After fulfilling my military duty, I entered the education system because I am sure that the education of a real citizen begins with a personal example. Therefore, I build my work on the principles of responsibility, respect for the history of my country, comradeship and readiness to come to the rescue, said Sergey Anatolyevich Nikolaev, Deputy Director of the Ships Prionezhye Center for specialized training.

In Vytegra, veteran Pavel Migunov performs a double task: at school No. 1 he teaches technology, and also works as a sambo coach. So, in addition to patriotic education, it inspires children to play sports, teaches them to overcome difficulties, forms a firmness of character.

In the Vologda College of Communications and Information Technologies Dmitry Krasilnikov works. He participates in the training of qualified personnel.

And in the Tarnog center of additional education with children works Evgeny Alexandrovich Sipin. He fosters children’s interest in crafts and patriotism in the framework of the programs “Carving on wood” and “Yunarmeets”.
