Vologzhan warns of importance of following rail rules

For 9 months of this year, the number of road accidents has been reduced at the crossings of the Northern Railway. In total, nine accidents occurred, in which three people were injured, two of them died. During the same period last year, 11 accidents, seven victims and one dead were noted at crossings.

Most of the incidents were recorded in the Yaroslavl and Arkhangelsk regions. Within the boundaries of the Vologda region, such facts have not been recorded.

As a rule, accidents at railway crossings lead to ignoring prohibitive signals and gross violations of traffic rules by drivers. They endanger not only themselves, but also passengers and railway workers.

Drivers are urged to be vigilant and not to become the culprits of the accident. Violation of the rules for crossing crossing crossings entails administrative liability, compensation for damage, as well as a fine of 5 thousand rubles or deprivation of the right to drive vehicles.
