The issue of licensing is very acute - Lukyanov on the results of the meeting with the President

Licensing is an important regulatory mechanism in the provision of quality services to the population. This was stated by the head of the main department of ideological work and youth affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee Alexander Lukyanov, commenting on the results of the meeting with the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. - The President always sets the task of legislators to work out bills in such a way that their result and effect affect not only large agglomerations – Minsk, regional centers, but also small settlements. The issue of licensing is very acute and covers almost every sphere: education, healthcare, services, said Lukyanov.

He stressed that the range of issues at the meeting was wide: from intercoms and access to personal information to education and medicine.

- Today there are many organizations that teach people something. And it is very important not to forget that we are developing in a very acute historical period of information warfare, he added. In the attempt of pious organizations, companies, enterprises, people to give education, destructive resources can be intertwined.

Separately, the expert mentioned the field of medicine.

“The quality of medical services is already a brand for the Republic of Belarus,” Lukyanov said. Attempts by some unscrupulous private organizations not to meet the criteria that citizens and the country’s leadership rightly set for the provision of such services should be minimized. An effective mechanism is the development of the law in the field of licensing.

The expert stressed that the President instructed parliamentarians of all levels to actively engage in this work. According to Lukyanov, it is important to rely on the opinion of not only large cities, but also small settlements to hone this legislative mechanism.
