Voronezh residents explained how to act when overpriced drugs in pharmacies

Residents of the Voronezh region were reminded of the procedure for actions in cases when pharmacies overstate the cost of drugs from the list of vital and essential medicines (VNIVLP). This was reported by the regional Ministry of tariff regulation on Monday, October 19.

It is the Mintariffs of the region that are responsible for the state regulation of drug prices: the department sets marginal allowances for drugs from the list of VHNIVLP. The pharmacy is not entitled to sell them more than the established maximum, since the final cost is formed from the manufacturer's selling price, wholesale and retail allowances, as well as VAT.

The list of CNIVLP was approved by the government of the Russian Federation and has more than 800 names in various dosage forms.

How to check the price yourself:

clarify the exact name of the drug, dosage, dosage form and amount in the package;

• to verify the data with the state register of selling prices for HNIVLP drugs;

compare the cost with the calculation in the calculator of the final price on the website of the Mintariffs of the Voronezh region;

• keep a cashier's check - it will be necessary when considering the application.

The quality and dispensation of medicines should be addressed to the health authorities.

If you find an excess of cost, you need to apply to the Mintariffs of the region. It indicates the name of the pharmacy with the address, date of purchase, name of the drug, dosage, form of release, price and a brief description of the situation. The application is accompanied by a photo or scan of the cash receipt.
